That being said, humans should still engage in healthy exercise and maintain a good dental hygiene routine to keep your physical and mental health in shape.

Why it’s important to keep a healthy lifestyle

Maintaining an active lifestyle is key to longevity. With an active lifestyle people report higher levels of happiness and decreased levels of stress. Going out into the world, breathing the fresh air and getting your blood pumping has many benefits. This brings us back to our homeostasis lesson above. If a person does moderate exercise 3-5 times a week, it will benefit them in the long run. A lot of people say they don’t have “time”. However, think back to the last time that you watched a television show. You probably didn’t stop after the first or second one. If you swap out one television show every other day, and instead engage in a low impact activity to begin with you will get into the habit of working out.
